Attorney as Estate Administrator

Because of his longtime work, the undersigned knows that the field of probate research is teeming with many individuals who cannot be referred to as professional, experienced or sometimes even serious. GEN Gesellschaft für Erbenermittlung mbH, however, belongs to the small, top-level group of probate researchers in Germany – otherwise, the undersigned and his partner would not work with this probate researcher.

Sincerely, D.J.C. Attorney as Estate Administrator

Sender: R. v. H. | To: Nina Kulp | June 19, 2018

Dear Ms. Kulp,
(…) I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your perseverance and commitment in this evidently not very simple inheritance matter. Without your company we wouldn’t have learned about the inheritance. And in addition to the financial gains we are also pleased to learn about the family structure you researched regarding the relatives of our grandfather on the Haben branch (…)

Many thanks and all the best, R. v.H.

Sender: D.F. | To: Dr. Ulrich Kasper | June 4, 2018

Sender: W.R.│To: Rainer Tomowiak│September 14, 2017

Dear Mr. Tomowiak,
I confirm with thanks the receipt of the large envelope which arrived safely. In this were among other things very interesting documents, which I will partially also send to the other co-heirs.

For your excellent work/service in this matter I would like to thank you – also in the name of the other co-heirs. Because I never knew D.W. (displacement), I/we assume that he, his brother and his mother died in Dresden in 1945; I was very skeptical and simply did not want to believe “this.”

Again, many thanks!

Yours truly, W.R.

P.S. I can recommend your probate research to “everyone!”

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
It has been a need of mine for some time now – and overdue – to express to you my thanks and my appreciation.

Of course it is your job to locate heirs. I am, however, sure that in my case your colleague Mrs. Fischer’s particular personal commitment, persistence and surely also her experience and knowledge had a great share in the success of the case.

Sincerely, H.W.

Sender: A.K.│To: Brigitta Fischer│September 09, 2016

Dear Mrs. Fischer,
Now the matter has finally come to an end! After almost exactly 13 years few of my closest relatives had expected such a thing. But we are very happy, even if my mother is no longer consciously aware of it. We can use the amount towards her care.

The case Agnes Z. will surely go down in your company’s history. The lengthy research with constant turns and new, succeeding participants probably does not happen in every search for heirs.

I would like to thank you wholeheartedly for your work. In the future I will probably miss my yearly email to you asking about the status of the case Agnes Z. Thank you again for your tenacious fight, particularly during the final phases of the case, and for your friendly telephone conversations and emails.

Sincerely, A.K.

addressor: U.W. | To: Max Bloch | April 24, 2016

Dear Mr. Bloch,
I would like to thank you, also on behalf of my sister, my mother and my uncle, for the sound handling of both of our inheritance matters. We could count on you – work and problems were taken care of, which was a great relief to us. We have received the accounting. (…)

Best regards for a warmer late winter.
Yours, U.W.

addressor: R.B. | To: Rainer Tomowiak | March 3, 2016

Good day, Mr. Tomowiak!,
Our unexpected inheritance arrived today! The seven grandchildren, who are mostly college students or high school seniors, will be pleased to receive a check. A luxury cruise for my husband and I is in it; the amount shouldn’t be used on the household.

Thank you for your long search. You are also happy that your inquiries weren’t in vain. Many thanks and continued success in your search for heirs!

Sincerely,
R.B.

addressor: K.Sch. | To: Brigitta Fischer | January 20, 2016

With my best regards and a huge THANK YOU for all of your work, time and devotion to this sometimes not very simple work.
Sincerely, K.Sch.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear Mr. Marx,
On December 18, 2015 I was delighted to take your letter out of my mailbox. Good things come to those who wait. The saying really applies to me.
Thanks to your intensive efforts, the estate matter has come to a successful conclusion.
I would sincerely like to thank you and wish you success in the future.
I have another request: Would it be possible for me to receive my family’s family tree? I would be very grateful.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and all the best for 2016.
Sincerely B.

Dear Dr. Bloch,
I would like to thank you for the accounting in the above-named matter and return one copy to you which includes my bank account number. From my childhood, in which I often spent the vacation break in Berlin, I can still remember that P. and L.F. had property in Z., which they could not use or visit because it was located in the Soviet Occupation Zone. To receive an inheritance from it after such a long time is a nice surprise.

Thank you for your efforts.
Sincerely, H.K., May 23, 2014

addressor: V.M. | To: Brigitta Fischer, Berlin | September 2, 2014

Dear Mrs. Fischer,
Now, after the majority of the inheritance has been distributed, I would like to thank you for your professional work. You have coordinated this surely very complicated case very well and have always kept me promptly informed. I am very satisfied with your work and would gladly recommend you.
Best regards, M., September 2, 2014

addressor: I. R. | To: Mr. Tomowiak, Hanover | February 11, 2014

Dear Mr. Tomowiak!
When I received the first letter from GEN, in which it was stated that I had inherited, I could not believe it and was very skeptical. However, thanks to your efforts, I was convinced and came into my rightful inheritance! I would like to thank you and your team for the work you’ve done and wish you much success in the future. I would also like to thank you on behalf of my two sisters.
Sincerely, I. R., February 11, 2014

addressor: Dr. C., Canada |To: Silke Schmidt, Hamburg | December 8, 2011

Liebe Frau Silke Schmidt and staff,
I would like to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude to you, Dr. Mathias Vogel and the entire staff at GEN-Niederlassung Hamburg for your ardent work on the file and estate matter of my late father Hans Ulrich C. over these many many years. lt has been decades since my brother and I were brought from the Vaterland to Canada by our parents. The Germany of that day was ravaged by the years of war in which our grandparents had peri shed and families scattered. Your organization has not only helped in a settlement of our father's estate, but has reconnected us to the homeland of our parents and grandparents-May They Rest in Peace. The passage of time has perhaps covered the pathways of history with snow, but the winds of change have c1eared the pathways and we are reminded of the Iives and people of our predecessors. The settlement of the estate has taken so many years and neither my brother or I expected it to be resolved in our Lifetime. Your arrival to the firm and the due diligence and relentless work of your firm all these years have finally made it possible to reconnect to our past and the lives of our families. As hard as this passage has been, it has enriched the Iives of both my brother in Montreal and I in Ottawa- who have never forgotten the place we were born and our parents and our deep roots in Germany.
And so, Mrs. Schmidt and the staff of GEN
